One of the underground scenes sizzling emerging stars Lilly Palmer holds court on Senso Sounds once again and this time is through the power of a three track EP titled ‘All Things Fall’. A label boss with an eye for discovering promising new artists and unearthing timeless classics, Oliver Huntemann has always had a knack for showcasing the future of the scene.
The title track is a polished slice of driving techno that perfectly builds in tension until the point where it hits the peak and sends the dancefloor into a frenzy of elated hedonism. German duo Teenage Mutants, who recently released their Run EP on Senso Sounds which included a Lilly Palmer remix, return the favour and cut their own distinctive mix of ‘All Things Fall’. Expect a stripped back, minimum approach that tackles the atmospheric elements to perfection before they unleash a swirl of acidic madness. The third track in the EP pack is ‘Shift’ that’s packed with a ruthless groove and precision percussion, pulsing bass and masses of rising atmospheric overtones that provide several peak time moments.
