  follow:
Toronto’s Nick Holder teams up with vocalist Sacha for a raw & grimey broken beat workout, whilst the Dub Mix reaches the parts other 4/4 house productions can’t reach.

• “Time” is the latest single from Nick Holder, and follows on from the excellent “Swimming” single last month. Collaborating with vocalist Sacha, who featured on Holder’s 2003 “On My Mind” single, “Time” is a grimey broken beat production, with a sultry and raw vocal. Already proving a big track with the likes of Gilles Peterson, Karizma, Bugz In The Attic and Jazzanova.

• Staking is the “Six Series Dub”, a deliciously dark house vibe that fans of Ame, Dennis Ferrer etc. will love. Precision drums, moody keys and Sacha’s vocal glide over a great groove that should become a deep house staple over the next few months…

• Nick Holder really needs no introduction to househeads, but for the uninitiated, Holder has scored a slew of underground goodies over the years, including “Summer Daze”, “No More Dating DJs”, “Da Sambafrique”, “Singing The Blues” and “Player 1”. Most recently, his classic “Erotic Illusions” was picked up by uber-cool German label, Poker Flat, and received the remix treatment from Steve Bug and Martin Landsky.
