Originally part of the "Demente" EP for Balkan Connection in spring 2018, Dynacom provided a moment of seething dark magic with "Night Witcher." Now receiving a pair of remixes courtesy of Yin and Yang, stars from Sri Lanka and Colombia take up the mantle.
Creating quite a name for himself in his Cali home southwest of Bogota, Kamilo Sanclemente has continued to shine brightly far beyond Colombian borders with distinctive DJ sets and an ever-growing production portfolio. Indeed, nearly 400 credits sit proudly next to Sanclemente's name since a September 2013 debut for Suite 7 Records with notable highlights appearing on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, John 00 Fleming's JOOF Recordings and Paul Hazendonk's Manual Music. A January 2019 debut for Proton Music with the hypnotizing "Spiral Patterns" continued to showcase the esteemed Kamilo Sanclemente name.
Now, he debuts on Yang with a full-paced interpretation that showcases a running 16th note bassline and strong closed-hat rhythm. Clave percussive phrasing adds a further layer of depth and touch of class before a swathe of ethereal chords scud across the mid-range like cumulous clouds on a breeze. Breathy vocal phrases from Dynacom's original make their presence felt as the track progresses. The addition of Sanclemente's hypnotic arpeggio sequences and stratified sonic architecture reminds listeners why the Colombian's mature sound makes him such a sought-after producer.
