After the great success of its first reference, “Madthumbs” by HeadphonesHead, Suruba is back with a new EP that will excel the high expectations set by press and public. “Sequenced Frame” is, without any doubt, the true confirmation of this Madrid Label.
The guy who signs this magnificent release is the well-known Tigerskin a.k.a. Alex Krüger, producer of artists such as Phonique, Antilôpè or Andre Crom, and who has released in labels as Liebe Detail, Highgrade, Players Paradise, MIS, Morris Audio or Kompass rec. during the last year.
“Sequenced Frame” is a funky disco-house oddisey, old school and spacey. Krüger stays clearly away from the usual Tigerskin patterns while keeping the punch and quality. Melodic, suggesting, and certainly vibrating, we are not lying when we say that this could be one of the best Tigerskin’s track since a long time. Just Great!
The original track is followed by a series of remixes done by Alvaro Muñoz and Delmar, Suruba “capos” and Gus Dallas. Alvaro rebuilds the original into a more electronic, clubby and contemporary track, while keeping the vintage aspect of the original. Besides, Delmar gives a darker, more atmospheric touch, though he stays focused on the dance floor. Finally, Gus Dallas hits the target once again, converting “Sequenced Frame” into a more aggressive, real dancefloor braking and spectacular track! Amazing!
