Codex Recordings is a Spanish based techno label headed up by Ukranian artist Spartaque who features a remix on this new release by Germany's Thomas Hoffknecht. Also on the EP is a remix from Canadian artist D-Unity who completes this impressive package.

Thomas Hoffknecht has also contributed tracks to other heavyweight labels such as Sleaze (UK), KD RAW and Second State before making his debut on Codex Recordings.

Label owner Spartaque is an equally accomplished producer who's prestigious back catalogue includes Terminal M, Tronic and OFF Recordings for example.

D-Unity heads up the highly respected Unity Records and along with many releases on his own label has also made numerous releases on many of techno's best known labels ranging from Intec to Suara.

The twisted synths of "Robot Ride" open the EP with pulsating rhythms layered over tough percussion. Things get dark with the hypnotic melody and punishing claps of "Waves" before the remixes close things off in peak time fashion.
