About a month before Sid Le Rock’s longplayer ‘Scenic Route’ is going to hit the stores, the first single from the album will be out on hafendisko.

‘Slow Poke’ comes with a defining remix from Dark-Disco and Indie-Dance sorcerer Cabaret Nocturne.

With the deep and intense dance-floor heater ‘Slowpoke’, the Berlin-based and Canada-born Sid Le Rock, who has been bossing the Indie-Electronica scene for 15 years now, takes a dive into rather slow spheres of dance music but doesn’t let go of the drive.

Sid Le Rock already left hallmarks under his monikers Pan/Tone and Gringo Grinders, also established the vinyl imprint Cereal/Killer and founded Beachcoma Recordings in 2009.

The straight in-your-face beat of ‘Slow Poke’ is driven by a whipping synthesizer and builds on the massiveness of the steadily pushing bassline. His vocals along the track create a great mystical suspense.

Adding a slapped e-bass and dramatic wave-
table bass hits, Raphaël de Sauvage aka Cabaret Nocturne goes heavy on the groove on the flip side. With successful releases on Nein, Factor City, Roam, My Favorite Robot and Thompson’s Beachcoma Recordings, Cabaret Nocturne is a household name in the scene.
