The next release on Roush comes from Italian-born producer, Mirko Di Florio. Mirko has been an instrumental figure in the tech house realm in recent years with an unlimited stream of releases on key industry labels. He returns to Roush for the first time since 2015 with his ‘Fluid’ EP. A two-track offering, showcasing his impressive acoustic journey across those four years since his last visit and highlighting his impressive levels of maturity as a producer. The title track, ‘Fluid’, opens the release with plenty of typical Roush-style influence. Shuffled rhythm and dynamic energy are rife, built by a solid foundation of crisp hats an percussive components along with watertight kicks and a masterfully constructed bassline. Mirko’s ability to construct creative buildups and really break up a track is really prominent on this production and helps make it a standout choice for busy dancefloors. ‘One Reason’ is the second and final track on the EP. A chunkier and groovier alternative to its predecessor, with an equally impressive amount of electricity. Big, atmospheric buildups fill in the gaps between huge drops, breaks, fills and weighty main body sections of the track. Another quality display of Mirko’s established skill set and perfect for peak time rollout, too! Mirko Di Florio’s ‘Fluid’ EP is proudly brought to you by Roush Label
