First appearing on our ‘Impressive Progressive’ compilation back in 2018, Rick Pier O’Neil returns with a full release of ‘Square Garden’ featuring a solid reworking by DJ SAN. Opening with a glitchy percussive layer, ‘Square Garden’ soon becomes a wonky, wildly claustrophobic ride into the wrong side of midnight, balancing the bottom end are some well placed pads, sparse percussion and ethereal vocals. For his remix, DJ SAN lightens the vibe to create a clever progressive trance reimagination.
