Endless Music label boss Luca Olivotto takes a step into the spotlight once more, this time with a generous offering of house and techno that spans a total of four tracks. The Arcadia EP opens with Secret Society, a darkened club track that displays thumping kicks and warm, swampy lines of acid. Overboard is more drum focused, with slicing hat rhythms and echoing claps. The most downtempo inclusion on the release is in the form of Zero, an array of broken beats and relaxing chords sit within a progressive arrangement that lets the drum hits roam freely. Lastly, we find the title track, Arcadia, with it's driven low end and tempered synth stabs it's controlled aggressively by a low pass filter for maximum effect on the dancefloor.
