Andy Bach makes a welcome return to Piston Recordings with the fantastic At First Light which follows his recent debut - Ibiza Sunset. Prolific DJ and producer Andy started to showcase his skills back in 1995 when he started to DJ in different clubs around Europe. He developed a partnership with producer Manou De Jean and together they created a unique music symbiosis. Several releases followed gaining international acclaim from top jocks and fellow artists. The following years has seen Andy release music on a plethora of labels, building quite an impressive back catalogue.

The Original Mix gives us a taste of deep and lush, warming grooves filled with smooth rhythms and club vibes. A tight drum section leads the way as a deep probing bassline dominates the low to create a very pumping low end. Sultry chord stabs fill the spectrum accompanied by hypnotic arpeggios and high strings for that true deep and groovy house vibe. A solid slice that will not disappoint.

Inspector Macbet debuts on Piston with a superb deep and groovy remix. This guy has been churning out quality cuts for the last several years and his work has been showcased on many top labels during that time. He has worked with Andy on a few projects and his sound is refined to deliver maximum impact on the floors. Here his remix opens with a cool voice as rhythmic percussions layer up, taking us to a nice punchy kick drum. High strings and playful arpeggios come through to pique the interest before warm and groovy chords join. The bassline rocks the low end as it dances across the groove effortlessly, tweaking and transforming into the ultimate funk driven groove. An upbeat cut for the floors that is not to be missed.
