After a decade dedicated to giving a voice to the underground House music of talented producers from around the world under our label, My Own Beat Records, we find ourselves in a moment of transformation.
As every creative entity that seeks to remain relevant in an ever-changing electronic scene, we believe in the need to evolve. This is why we decided to create "Own My Beat" Records, a new label that represents an alternative path from the journey we began with My Own Beat Records 10 years ago.
"Own My Beat" is an invitation to each listener to claim their own musical experience. Every rhythm, every song, every beat is an opportunity for the listener to make the music their own in a unique and personal way. It is a way to empower those who now listen to our releases and make the music we present through the label their own.
"My Own Beat" will continue to exist as the home for many releases in a more classic house mood, while Own My Beat will be the new vehicle for artists and releases focused on the underground house music scene, especially dedicated to Afro, TechHouse, and Techno.
