Rules Don't Apply (as a concept) was born out of Walker & Royce's mission to share new & exciting music and initially was the title of their weekly radio show. The label is an extension of that mission- "we want to support artists we believe in and give them a platform regardless of the genre they make. We want to show the world that not everything needs to fit into a box, there are no rules when it comes to good music! ", says Gavin. As where house music is synonymous with Walker & Royce, RDA serves as a doorway to a world just beyond the limits of preconception. "we're looking for artists who go the extra mile in their own direction", Sam adds.

Rules Don't Apply Records launched in September of 2021 and has quickly become a trendsetting incubator for promising musical talents.
