CURIOUS

Curious Records - In an age where(when) a label is only as good as its last release, London-based Curious Records has steadily evolved into one of the House music communitys most consistent and proper sources of pure uncompromised underground house music. Curious(s) enviable catalogue of star-studded productions and remixes fuses stellar song-writing and production abilities with an innate knowledge of what works on the dance floor. In 2007, label head Sir Pierss ear for catchy yet credible tracks is working overtime. Having released a steady stream of critically-acclaimed and best-selling productions and remixes by the likes of DJ Jorj, Hardsoul, Fanatix, DJ Spen & Karizma and Kiko Navarro, Piers has also used Curious as an outlet for his own eclectic production talents showcased under his Tarantulaz, Summerheadz, Fusion Groove Orchestra and DirtDiggers guises. (maybe a little long for one sentence) On Curious, Piers has collaborated with some of musics most respected names including Los Amigos Invisibles, Shaun Escoffery and songbird Monique Bingham, with whom Piers released the beautiful Club smash Dont You Love Me and 2005s underground best-seller Fools Got Nothin. Late November will see Curious continue its evolution as one of a select few purveyors of quality deep, soulful house in the form of Back When a hot new production produced under Piers Tarantulaz pseudonym and featuring the vocals of world-renowned DJ-producer and vocalist Robert Owens. Including remixes by Liquid People and Dirtdiggers, Back When is already winning support from some of Houses most respected tastemakers and is set to blow up worldwide following its release on the 26th of November. Tour-wise too, Sir Piers has been taking the Curious sound on the road to widespread acclaim. In addition to appearances at Milk n 2 Sugars Ibiza residency at El Divino, Estonias revered Prive club, and OM Records WMC party in Miami, Piers has made a whopping three tours of the continental US and Canada this year, including his most recent trip down the West Coast of California where, Piers caused more heat than ever beforeas he sealed many more fans along the way
