SIDEWAYS RECORDINGS

Sideways Recordings is an underground tech house/techno label based on the southeast coast of the UK. Formed in 2008 by a collection of like minded local DJs, promoters and producers it has evolved into a platform for new local talent within the scene. The artists featured in 2009 are Robot Child, Keydin and Episodes, all of which have been involved with the Sideways family from beginning and together have been responsible for flying the flag for the underground tech scene in this part of the UK for the last 5 years. The first release is ‘Oculus’ from Robot Child (AKA Tim ‘TG’ Green) who has already achieved international acclaim on labels such as Infant, Fling, Trapez and Dirtybird and was nominated for best breakthrough producer in DJ magazine.
