Lifeworld is a label founded by Gerd. Gerd was the second guy from the European continent ever to release a record on a Detroit label. His It's Thinking release on Malego (a short lived sublabel to Plus 8 records) was an instant classic. With this little imprint he goes back to his first love: detroit techno. Besides releases and re-releases by his own hand, Gerd will push forward talents such as Johannes Volk (who is known for his amazing works on Jeff Mills' Axis), Germany's Agore and Japan new comer Takuya Yamashita.
