Founded in 2002 by Tobias Meggle, already responsible of classic moments of the Beanfield compositions in the past, Hinterland is the home of the solo work of Tobias as Sandboy. One and a half decades of experience in playing with different bands, composing, arranging, touring, dj-ing and producing renewed his attention to the role of the human voice as a main source of song. Inspired words are combined with meticulously detailed treatment of the vocals surface, the songs lyrics become explicitly musical gestures. Globally acclaimed by the press and cognoscienti from all sides, Hinterland offers 2 great albums and some singles remixed by people like Smiles Ahead, Butti 49, Volcov, Break Reform, Season and others...
