SOCO

SOCO is a project where I cook ambient, deep house, and broken beat styles of music. I've mainly been into creating deep house mixes over the years as that's the sound I feel that resonates with me till this day.

My passion for this life extends into creating events that have featured national talent in my hometown, San Antonio. Since 2005 I have hosted artists like Jamie Thinnes, Kai Alce, Michael Scott, Jaymz Nylon, Homero Espinosa, Hiatt DB, Mark Quark and so many other amazing talents that call this life theirs too.

The music community I surround myself with is a large group of hard-working artists who want to have fun and make a living doing their art. That community of friends consists of Roddy The Dude who asked me to help him with a record label venture called Calls and Puts, where we combined our creative efforts to start the label with CAP001. I have served as A&R to help curate the collection and love the opportunity to meet artists with an intense passion for sharing their works.

All of this work has led me to my current projects; resident DJ on Shared Frequencies and working with local community organizations like Centro San Antonio to bring House Music to a larger audience. I hope to keep at this and work on some premiere events in 2024 for my community. One Love.
