MATHIS VUILLEUMIER

Mathis Vuilleumier is a young DJ and producer based in Lausanne, Switzerland. He got his start on the techno scene, but after several years got bored of bunker parties and moved away from the techno scene in 2022 to get closer to house culture.
Strongly influenced by the French Touch movement (which included some of his favourite artists such as St-Germain, Thomas Bangalter and Etienne de Crécy), he moved towards sounds that mixed disco, jazzy and deep elements.
In December 2022, he set up his own label, Black Pattern Records. Determined to bring his own music and that of other Lausanne producers to the fore, he began signing local artists and spreading the Black Pattern Records name in clubs. 6 months after launching the project, he released his first compilation pressed on vinyl.
Today, Mathis and his label are scouring the clubs and festivals of Switzerland, always with the same mission in mind: to make everything that lives dance. For him, dancefloor culture is a sacred sanctuary of freedom and exhilaration.
