In the early 1980s, a young boy found himself exploring the vibrant halls of Chicago's WVON radio station,
where his father worked as an engineer. Boredom turned to fascination when a friendly janitor took him
under his wing and introduced him to a novelty rap song - the first taste of hip hop the boy had ever
experienced.

Fast forward to 2022, and that young boy is now Griffen, a formidable hip-hop artist rooted in the heart
of Chicago's musical landscape. His journey has been one of relentless ambition, resulting in an impressive
discography that boasts over 30 mixtapes, 25 standalone singles, more than 20 music videos, and 8 albums
- all readily available on various online platforms. He has also made numerous guest appearances,
solidifying his presence in the hip-hop community.

As a native of Chicago, a city that sits at the crossroads of various musical influences from the East, West,
and South, Griffen serves as a conduit for absorbing and transmitting that powerful energy. His music

successful mixtape series "Engleworld" and two volumes of the street album "Ashland Chronicles." In 2017
and 2018, he independently dropped "Reanimated" and "Folklore," respectively, on his own Unlabeled
Multimedia imprint. Now, his upcoming projects "Shotgun Opera," "Axxhole Theme Music," and "Nuclear
Pasta" are highly anticipated, promising to elevate his artistry even further.
