The best way to describe this young man, is the way his community sees him
"He's like a big old tree, been around for years but you would never notice him until it starts raining and then you will say thank God for this tree" Born in the early 80's in Crossroads, Cape Town, we really have to say "Thank God for this tree" Born to parents who were not wealthy but hard working, he grew up a hard worker himself, holding jobs by the age of 14 and becoming the pride of his parents with a strong support structure for all his dreams, during his school days, he was the motivation for other students to become better, an A+++ student who never studied much, with a dream of studying behavioural Psychology he grew up with a keen interest in people, lies, ideas all the goote that make us tick all the things that influence our choices, you can call him a walking lie detector.
The dreams would have to wait, at the age of 16 He lost his mother to Breast Cancer and he lost all his desire for dreams. At the worse time in his life, he found hope and comfort in hard work, working 7days a week to escape his thoughts, buried in his work, he found new dreams. In 2003 he started working for a man named Gert Laing and this man would go on to teach him the value of dreams and most of all "the importance of family".
In 2004 the dream was reborn and Moodswingmusic was started and anybody that would listen was not missed, in 2006 the dream became an obsession, an obsession to become better than he was yesterday, with this kind of driving force and countless doors closing in his face, Moodswingmusic would become African House Movement, a label which would strive to keep doors open for all the Saints out there, it's a commitment to save you all the trouble. Saint is not a man claiming to be perfect, he's just a man__ who knows there is room for improvement.
Enjoy the Music and Thank you for the support [African House Movement]
