Quantreau is a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and co-founder of the Fortune Signal record label.

His dynamic and diverse sets have captivated audiences for over a decade. He draws from early experiences in the underground community that once thrived in dusty warehouses and under-the-radar message boards to craft a style that moves seamlessly between deep and soulful house to ravey, broken beat and bass-heavy.

Quantreau has made a name for himself in NYC with floor-melting performances, including an opening set for Psychemagik at Elsewhere's Zone One. He's played at vaunted venues, including Jupiter Disco, Mansions, TBA, Café Balearica, and on The Lot Radio with his Fortune Signal label-mates.

With an expansive knowledge of underground dance music, Quantreau weaves sonic links between disparate styles to create genuinely unique sets. His selections reflect his 15 years as an observer, participator, and selector of underground dance music. Preferring not to be pigeonholed to a particular genre, he crafts sets to open up listeners to the new and unexpected. His infectious energy can draw even the most staunch trainspotters onto the floor.

Quantreau is passionate about sharing the spotlight with other up-and-coming artists and fostering the next generation of electronic music talent. He's funneled that energy into Fortune Signal, the record label where he's a partner alongside D.D. Curry, DJ Fang, and K.mal. Starting in 2022, the imprint has five releases and counting from artists including DJ Burrito Boy, Akumen, Panooc, and Kyle Louis.
