DIABLO (NL)

Diablo (NL) has an original and artistic approach to the variety of styles he combines in the electronic music he plays, be it as dj or performing live, as well as throughout all of his productions. In 2020 he celebrated his 30th anniversary as a dj and kept the vibe of the earliest 90’s alive, where house music was not bound to the cages we are in today, still radiating the warm vibes of those early beginnings, where all lovers of house music felt like one big family on the dance floor and beyond. As styles like house, progressive trance and techno shifted further apart, Diablo did decide to focus more on pure techno, albeit always influenced by his love for house music, progressive and acid house and with his own familiar sound. For the deeper and more experimental shades of house music, he went on under his own name Daniël Englisch and it shouldn’t surprise those tracks mostly do have that techno edge to it. From beginning of 2009, Diablo and Ziv Avriel (IL) started their own techno label called Defuse Records, after organizing many parties together in clubs like the Mazzo, Time and Lichtfabriek in the late 90’s. They’ve build up a roster of great national and international artists for the label, both famous and more obscure, but always top notch. Those 30 years flew by, while there is still so much to discover, harmonize and create, another 30 please!
