CHILLI

Emma Chilinski-Reed, known as CHILLI, is a singer-songwriter with over a decade of experience. Starting her professional career at 18 as a backing vocalist for Melanie Williams (SubSub - Ain't No Love, Ain't No Use), she quickly established herself in the industry. She has collaborated with top dance music producers like Tom Neville (electro), Aquasky (Moving Shadow) and DJ Trex (signed to Metalheadz and runs label TrustAudio) and more recently with with DJ Luck and MC Neat on Can't Come Down and duetted on the re-release of Master Blaster with original vocalist JJ.

Constantly collaborating and writing Chilli works with other writers and has stuff signed to Felt music with long time writing partner Alan D Boyd and writing collective QC197 for sync and continues to work in this area which allows versatility and freedom creating everything from Motown, Northern Soul and country, to modern pop, acoustic tracks and ballards. Her live experience from being in several cover bands means crossing over onto the stage comes naturally.

Chilli fronts electronic dance band BUG BUG (Sleep when you die, Gone Missing) with long time pals Insignificant Others, with whom she enjoyed some success with their EP Cold Sweat/ Wide Awake. Working alongside Neviks, house dj and producer means she gets to itch that dancy scratch, the couple work together easily and this will stay that way.
