Falling in love with House Music from a young age, Clint October started collecting records influenced by compilations mixed by Vinny da Vinci,DJ Mbuso and SoulCandi. Constantly attending events held at Deluxe the premium house club at the time in Cape Town, he really got inspired to persue a career in house music and started to dig into the deeper side of house. Over the years Clint continued to develop his sound, driven by his love for the jazz, soul & funk textures within House Music. Clint has shared the stage with some of SA House Music’s pioneers and performed at events such Sizzled, Sneaky House Party, Deep Matters and the famous We house Sunday, leading him to starting his own events in Cape Town “Deep Society”, which emphasizes on local and up and coming artists, providing the platform for these artists. Deep Society has also naturally developed into a record label “Deep Society Music” which will be an outlet for Clint’s forthcoming productions and local and international artist features.
