DICKIEJ

Dickiej is a DJ/Producer based in the Lake District UK with a love of house music for 27 years. A Funky House vinyl DJ from 1998 playing the bar circuit in Liverpool and Chester.
After losing all his vinyl and DJ equipment in the 2009 Cumbria Floods he had a break from DJing for 6 years. He finally made his come back on CDJ’s in 2015 adding Jackin and Tech House genres to his play list.
He is currently resident DJ at Bar Es Keswick and Ambleside and added his first club and festival gigs in 2017.
He started producing in 2017 making Funky Tech House tracks with a strong bass line and urban/soulful lyrics, making his tracks modern and bouncy. Gaining early recognition from listeners and DJs alike with numerous radio plays including House Nation Toronto.
His musical influences include early 90’s Funky House & Jungle Techno, Old School Hip Hop & Rap and Soul.
He signed to his first record labels early in 2018 with his first 3 track EP release in April 2018 via the Italian record label ClubX Records.
He has various ongoing production projects including exciting collaborations with other UK DJ/Producers.
