KEYTRONICS

My names is Francesco Montefiori, but everyone calls me Kekko, with K letters (in this way it sounds the same everywhere). My father, Germano, was a great musician, a saxosophonist, I practically grew up with my twin brother in dancing rooms, up to become a fan of discos , and its world bound to Riviera Romagnola. My first production was in 1989, a House music genre, “Acid Job”, published by Irma Records. After my musical direction was oriented about House music, because it was the evolution of disco music , in a plus synthetic key, with a language more suitable for young generations, using drums machines and sequencers. Two years later, I composed “House of Calypso”, and in his first version, it was very simple, and since I had a very good reply , the Label manager asked me immediately a remix of the track, with better sounds, so I realized it in Claudio Moz art Rispoli’s Studio, a very famous dj and producer. In that situation was born the “Paradise version” of “Calypso of House, and in the same period I created too Softhouse Company’s disco.
This released signed my musical career because they had a great reply , becoming a classic in its musical genre. So, since then, I was more and more involved making House Music, always trying to innovate , and not copying my lasts best works. From this period, came out other works “You X Me”, “Move”, “Anamaria” plus more, since then I stopped Keytronics Ensemble’s productions for twenty years about or more, because I was involved making shows as “Montefiori Cocktail”, in this period a created a “Lounge Version” of famous “Gipsy Woman” by Crystal Waters. For a couple of years about, after so many years, I’m involved again with Keytronics project, and my last production, “For House Tracks E.P.”, was the result of this intention.
