Raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Lyric Jones is a multi-talented force in the realms of artistry, music production, and DJing. With over a decade of experience, she's not just a musician and producer but a seasoned performer who has graced stages alongside legends like Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Kevin Ross and Rah Digga. Blending jazz, soul, house, and hip-hop, Lyric captivates audiences with her compelling vocals and razor-sharp lyricism, earning acclaim from industry heavyweights like Black Thought and Chuck D.

During her formative years, Lyric's musical journey took her to Berklee College of Music, where she fine-tuned her craft and left a lasting impression as the "lil sis" to everyone. In 2012, she made her mark on in the music industry with her debut album "Jones St," featuring collaborations with icons like Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest and Grammy Winning Esperanza Spalding. Fast forward to 2020, Lyric's LP "Closer Than They Appear," executive produced by Phonte of Little Brother & The Foreign Exchange, further solidified her place in the music scene.

Continuously evolving, Lyric is now delving into the world Deep House and Dance - artistically and as a DJ. With resent collaborations with Close Counters, Soul Clap, Byron The Aquarius, ZO! & Tall Black Guy. Lyric has been leaning in to her versatility and commitment to pushing artistic boundaries in developing Tempo Soul Records.
