COUNTRY GENTS

Country Gents is the recording moniker of Lee Jones, DJ and producer.
A DJ since 1996, Lee was initially inspired by DiY Soundsystem and ethos in 1990 and ended up DJ'ing all over the UK & Europe before starting his own events in Reading UK under the name Valley Moods Productions.
He started producing in 1999 and released his debut 12" that same year on Cross Section Records' sub label Black No Sugar.
Over the years, a number of other producers have worked with Lee as fellow Gents, but currently he is working solo from his Bristol Bus Studio in the wilds of South Oxfordshire.

He has been running Deep Cartel Recordings since 2010.

These are exciting times - His label, called Buslife Records is now on release no.49 with more lined up and a summer of outdoor DJ gigs.

Lee has a weekly radio show every Saturday night from 6pm - 8pm GMT on his own, Buslife Collective Radio station and a monthly breakfast show on Garage House Radio10 - Midday GMT, 1st Saturday of the month.
