Passionardor is the production name for UK dance music songwriter/ producer Mark Moore. The name came from his passion for electronics & ardor harks back to the past for the soulful side of dance music & live instrumentation - often fusing both. Over the last 16 years, he has been an accomplished freelance feature writer, acclaimed record reviewer & photographer for all the major dance publications, lifestyle magazines, newspapers & websites in the UK & overseas, the linchpin for Danny Rampling’s website & he promoted club nights, one-off parties & charity events. His extensive contacts within the dance music field has seen Mark travel throughout the world on tour with DJs/ producers or covering new territories’ dance scenes & was the only European journalist/ photographer to be invited to stay with Frankie Knuckles in Chicago for Frankie Knuckles Day. RIP FK Always. He collaborated with Jocelyn Brown, Joey Negro & Danny Rampling on Il Padrinos “How Good the Love Is” on Defected Records. Since 2004, the dance floors have had the chance to meet the by-gone songwriter Mark Moore who has a unique hands-on approach to the soulful house genre/ disco house/ funk/ jazz/ chill out & pop plus more electronic/ electro house with live instrumentation & electronic production. He has had record releases & remixes on Soulfuric Deep, Influential House Recordings, Kinky Malinki, Del Records, Mixture Stereo, Miss Moneypennys Records, Avioground, MAP Dance, 953 Recordings, Gotta Keep Faith Records, Sobra Recordings, DVision, 99 Waves, PR Records, Soulful Vibes Records, Distar Records, Stereocity, Unity Gain, Ministry of Sound Australia, KMG Chicago, Swishcraft Music, Power of Love Productions, Chicago to London, Disco Balls Records, Marivent Digital and Welcome to the Weekend. His tracks have appeared on compilations by Mn2S, Loveslap, Sobra Recordings, Power of Love, Del Records, Sobra Recordings, LW Recordings, Reflective Music, Disco Balls Records, Stereocity, Kingdom & Ministry of Sound, UK & Australia. He won a nationwide remix competition on Influential House Records in 2008. His remixes number over forty (30+ for Disco Balls Records, Miami) and include Martin Solveig “One.2.3.Four” and Pacific 202 “Project 808,”which was licensed to Ministry of Sound Australia. Highlights over the years include Insomniac’s Fantasy on Avioground which got licensed to the Human Miracleofcom compilation. He programmed fourteen hours of music for the National Football Museum which launched on 6th July 2012 in Manchester. October 2012, the Summer Dub EP was two weeks at number 1 in the house charts in Finland (meteli.net part of Basepoint Media) in the top 10 for eight weeks, number 8 in the top 100 Urban Chart & number 3 in the electronic charts. The follow up Transfiguration EP on Power of Love was number 6 in the house charts (7/5/13), & number 9 in the electronic charts. 2018 saw Passionardor collaborate with two singers from Melbourne in Australia, the first Corinna Jane with “Love Getaway (Escape)” which was released on Kingdom/ Chicago to London, distributed by Mn2S and Sony which climbed to number 13 in the Australian Dance Charts. Summer 2019 has that track featured on compilation Weapons of Choice, mixed by Gene Hunt on Love Vibration Nation. Melbourne’s OctaviaSpace sees the first collaboration on Gotta Keep Faith spring 2019 with “Little Break” plus “Runaway” on Marivent Music in summer 2019. Other collaborations with London soul singer Natalie Corbett were released on Sobra Recordings “Day in the Sunshine” on the Sunshine Rhapsody EP with “Rhapsody” played on BBC radio. And to go full circle, his biggest hit “Everlasting Love” on Soulfuric Deep was re-released via Defected/ Soulfuric
