DJ/Production duo HouseMechaniX, Leland Usher and Simo Filali Chahad, are relative to the Los Angeles House Music scene but that hasn't stopped them from making their mark.This seasoned team have both been musicians from the age of 5 and are an interesting mix which has made their musical taste eclectic and broad and is reflected in each track- Leland's silky smooth side is reminiscent of Luther Vandross with the raspy quality and tone that invokes the soul legends David Ruffin and Richie Havens, and music has always been Simo’s life. Born with the blessing and gift of song in his heart whenever he touched an instrument, the strings would almost play themselves, echoing the melodies within, eventually leading him to the Love of his Life, the keyboard. 'House MechaniX' first offering "Mamma Saved Me," dropped in early 2015 on In-Soul Records. The remix of “Mamma Saved Me” hits the TraxSource Top 100 Chart.
