MARTA DEL GRANDI

Marta del Grandi is an Italian jazz singer and songwriter. In 2012 she moves to Ghent, Belgium, to finish her studies in jazz vocals and to learn from the Belgian experimental scene. In 2013 she meets the producers duo Sue Avenue, Pieter Santens and Hannes Ledoux, and starts collaborating with them as guest vocalist. She features on their debut EP "Same Same" (Lany Recordings).

She works with musicians from Europe, US and Asia on different projects from jazz to pop, to soundscape and improvised music.

She lived in Nepal and China, working as a jazz educator and collaborating with local artists. Her research in music involves traveling and getting to know the world and its people, cultures, colors, tastes and sounds.

Her main project Marta Rosa will release its debut album "Invertebrates" in March 2016 on Honolulu Records (IT).
