ANDREAS SAM
Andreas Sam a.k.a. Andreas Samaras is a Dj and music producer. Born in 1991, in Thessaloniki, Greece, he is founder and label owner of ‘imani made for music’ in Timisoara, Romania. A talented DJ, Andreas mixes regularly using four decks and has a deep knowledge of all things house music.
History
From early age, Andreas was influenced by classic house music, such as the track, ’’my my my’’ by Armand Van Helden. That led him immediately to proceed in to the deep house and tech-house genres.
Andreas’ first appearance on the decks as a DJ for an audience was 2007. Since then, he has played in venues and clubs all over Romania and Greece alongside major artistis such as: ATB , Aaaron, Superlover ,Tube & Berger, Dario Dattis, Boris Dlugosch, Jimi Jules, Mark Lower, Nusha,-Teenage Muntants, Atapy, Ninetoes Debora De Luca and many more.
2018 ended on a high note for Andreas Sam by winning the DJ Growth Lab competition giving him a headline slot at the Rainbow Club in Birmingham for the DJ Growth conference closing party. At the conference he also had the honor to meet one of his mentors and greatest inspirations Roger Sanchez.
Kicking 2019 off with a bang Andreas Sam was invited to play at a charity event just outside London and also performed at Ministry of Sound and Egg in London.
Production
Andreas started producing music in 2013, with multiple releases on a variety of labels. In 2015, Andreas released the “Caribbean Spirit’i on the Kingstreetsounds label from New York City. The track found success in New York and entered in an abstrack album along with artist such as Dennis Ferrer and Kiko Navvaro.
2016 saw another big release for Andreas with ‘’The Mystery’’ on Simone Vitullo’s label Go Deeva Records. “The Mystery” went on to be included in the Ibiza Cool cuts album
2017 was the year Andreas really grew as a producer and succeeded in releasing three tracks in June, all of which had the honor to climb onto the Traxsource top 100 house songs in the world. The highlight of the year was his track “U Got To Show Me feat. Scarlett Quinn (Sakura Music)” was his biggest success to date, placing 7th on the Traxsource Top 100 House category and 23rd across all categories.
In 2018 Andreas continues to climb on the Traxsource charts and returned to Kingstreetsounds with the release of his track ‘’Once again.” As with his previous releases, “Once Again” reflects Andreas’ passion and production skills by reaching 16th place on Traxsource top 100 deep house charts.
In 2019 Andreas Sam released two productions with Union Records(Italy) inspired from the Greek Islands, capturing the essence of his upbringing. ‘’Melodrama’’ climbed to 8th place in the Traxsource top 100 afro house charts and ‘’Santorini’’ climbed to number 50.
In 2020 a new journey began Imani made for music was created and everything changes into one! Music events- Record Label- Andreas Sam
