BANANA GROOVZ

Lukasz Szatewicz, better known as Banana Groovz, is a house music producer from Poland with deep roots in the global electronic scene. Since 2004, he's been crafting grooves that blend funky, disco, jackin', and jazzy house, always with a sunny, sample-driven twist.

Between 2008 and 2012, Banana Groovz gained momentum as one of the key players in the Polish house scene, collaborating closely with fellow producer Jackie. His tracks found homes on respected labels like Milk & Sugar, King Street, Moodfunk, Groove Culture, and more.

Banana Groovz tracks have been supported and played by icons like The Shapeshifters, Micky More & Andy Tee, Grant Nelson, Cassius, Milk & Sugar, Tony Humphries, Bryan Jones (Golf Clap), and Miguel Migs, and featured on stations like Ministry of Sound, SSRadiouk, and Hed Kandi.

In 2010, Lukasz expanded into DJing, becoming a resident for the legendary Pacha brand during its stint in Poznań, Poland.

After a creative break, he returned in 2016 under a new alias, HouseKeepKing, exploring fresh ideas and a more mature, eclectic sound. With years of experience behind him, he embraced a wider musical spectrum and a renewed energy.

Now in 2025, Banana Groovz is back in full swing—bringing the heat once again and launching his own label, Outer Waves Records.
