"Frostfire a.k.a Robin Barclay is a Scottish DJ/Producer born and raised in Ayr, a town nestled on Scotland's west coast. Frostfire realized his passion for music at a young age, getting his hands on his first pair of decks at the age of eleven. Experimenting with various sounds and genres at first, he was very quickly amazed by the emerging Electro house sound of the time. By the age of eighteen, his years of experimentation with music paid off as he was given his chance to shine, playing in a local nightclub. Grabbing the opportunity with both hands, Frostfire strived to make his sets unpredictable, dynamic, exciting and energetic. As word spread, this paved the way for many more bookings up and down the country at a wide range of events.
However, even with such commitments Frostfire's love affair with music wasn't fully satisfied and he took the natural step of experimenting with producing, editing and remixing music. Teaching himself, his sound developed over time, turning bigger and bolder as he strived to convey the same energy and excitment in his productions that he had managed to create with his DJ sets.
In early 2014, Frostfire began work on a new track titled 'Dancing Alone' with Spanish producer and friend 'Coke Montilla' with vocal input from 'Emma McNeill'. Signed to 'Cube Cherry Records', the track was a great success and hit the number one spot in the record labels charts. Frostfire has since embarked on many more productions, collaborations, remixes and edits with the same unpredictable nature that brings a spark to his DJ sets.
Engrossed with making new and exciting sounds, Frostfire is one to watch as he continues his journey into the world of electronic music."
