History: Adel Ace learnt the art of DJ'ing at the age of 14, which was back in 1997 @ Club Inferno in Manama under the patronage of his mentor mix-master Gil Anger a.k.a. DJ-GiLSphere.
With the purchase of his first Technics turntables, Adel began to hone his mixing abilities which lead him to land his early gigs. His commitment to improving his craft inspired his brother Anwar as well, who equally was as avid a Musical enthusiast.
During these early years, Adel started delving in-depth and exploring House Music, thus leading him into choosing the genre as a specialization. His brother Anwar also caught the House bug, which prompted the creation of the first beats back in the year of 1998, while also forming the concepts for their duo appearances which involved playing at various clubs & parties on the island.
In 2002-2003, Adel ventured into the world of Hip-Hop accompanied by two childhood friends, and was in-charge of producing while writing rhymes under the guise of "Platinum", and ended up with a 3 track EP that hit the radio waves - Anwar also assisted in this Hip-hop endeavor, as well as with the production.
The first LP was released through online record label www.NDMdigital.com/ in 2004, but since then, DiscaL's range in sound & production skills have been at a steady pace of development.

"Well, DiscaL to me, is pronounced as if you were saying "locale" or "morale" for instance, while bearing in mind that the word "Disc" is generally used to refer to a relatively thin, circular shaped object ie.
1- A phonograph 12"/vinyl/record.
2- A Compact Disk 3- The Rings of Saturn.
It's also the name of the first LP we released on www.NDMdigital.com/ thanks to Joseph Mercado!"
