Making their hotly anticipated debut on NoExcuse Limited are Venezuelan production duo; Band&dos. With a string of releases on some of the best minimal & deep tech labels in the business they now take it up a gear with their Balance EP. The duo has already had some incredible support over the course of their relatively short career so far, with the likes of Nic Fanciulli & Eats Everything being in amongst the names to show love.

The release opens up on the title track; 'Balance'. Immediately noticeable is the dusty vinyl crackle which paints an authentically fine layer throughout the record, making for a really raw, underground, aural taste straight off the bat. The track progresses nicely with your atypical NoExcuse Limited type grooves, something we've noticed that artists are really starting to feel and understand, this track is living testament of that. 'Balance' is tied up nicely with crisp rhythmic storytelling, a catchy vocal hook, an equally as fetching bassline and complementary synth elements.

Closing proceedings on their maiden NoExcuse Limited release is 'In My Mind', no dusty vinyl pop this time around but plenty of reverb to give another representation of true underground feeling. 'In My Mind' focuses around building melodic scenes with use of FX and processed vocals, and relies on the amount of space it creates in an audiovisual sense to really capture you inside a moment. It's melodic progressions add incremental increases in emotion each and every time they come to pass. Eyes closed and let go type of track, one to sway the masses in synchronisation.
