Dance music is bigger now than it ever has been and - for a label that's been releasing house music for over 20 years - we've loved watching this huge growth. One thing that we think might have suffered though is the classic house song. There is so much dance music on the radio that, it seems to us anyway, that the best songwriters in dance music are having their songs produced in a real pop way.

In the 90s we had the likes of Murk, Clivilles & Cole, Steve "Silk" Hurley and, of course, Masters At Work all making club songs that - while they might end up in the charts - were focussed primarily on the dance-floor. We'd love to see more of that coming through now.

Kisch is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has previously released on Toolroom and Low Steppa's Simma Black. He is also, clearly, a DJ and "Reach" is a song that, to us, delivers in the club as well as in our hearts.
