This is Keith Thompson's heartfelt tribute to the assassinated, Brazilian activist, Marielle Franco. She was taken from us in April of 2018 because she was politically and socially fighting for the equal rights of poor people of all colors in the favelas of Brazil.

"I was possessed by her spirit to write and record this song in just a few days of none stop musical venting," reveals Keith. "I hope I've done the inspiration justice, though it took a few weeks to finish. I'm happy "Marielle" is completed and I feel satisfied and honored to receive the inspiration."

Early listeners from Brazil have appreciated my effort. We hope her loved ones and the people of Brazil feel it.
