Wonder Stories label boss AIMES returns to Roam Recordings with two new originals that form the Devious Maneuvers EP. AIMES has been delivering outstanding releases that span psychedelic, new-wave, italo, and cosmic disco across several imprints including 20:20 Vision, Spa in Disco, and Nang. For this release AIMES delivers two exceptional synth driven works. The title track, Devious Maneuvers, is a driving pulsating tune with maintime energy. Machination in contrast flips the mood into deeper territory with dreamy elements and swooning electronics.

The EP is backed by two excellent remixes. English producer Steve Cook takes on Devious Maneuvers with a rugged version for when the mood calls for something tough. Rounding out the EP is Lauer - Roam Alumni and half of Tuff City Kids and Black Spuma - who weaves classic trance elements into Machination while still keeping the sophisticated vibe of the original.

All four tracks work together to form a well rounded EP perfect for a variety of discerning dance floors.
