Next up on NoExcuse Limited, making his debut on the label is Mene. The Belgrade based artist brings his unique blend of Minimal, Tech House and Techno across his 'Too Funky' release.

Getting things moving, the title track 'Too Funky' sets the bar high with it's dusty, granular groove. The track is painted with a raw and striking personality, along with hints of disco influence within its rhythm and percussive elements. The track also features 80s inspired sounds in places and some really 'out there' flavours too, a great exhibition of Mene's vast creative palette and technical ability in the studio.

Next up is 'One Shot' a hard-hitting, subby, wobbler of a track. This one incorporates influence again from other genres, with breakbeat sections reminiscent of the early days of body popping and locking. Yet another display of Menes varied talent and understanding/appreciation for electronic music culture.

Moving on to 'Real Talk', a bonafide Tech House head-banger. This track is built on a base of raucous live drumming, an alarmingly strong low-end kick, bass and tom combo and completed with layer upon layer of entertaining vocal samples, builds, energy and beastly drops!

Rounding off the release is 'Hills', a lighter track in comparison to its predecessors but a great reflection of the NoExcuse Limited sound. It's the perfect combo of the artist and label's influence coming together to make an upbeat, jacking groover.
