Jiggler - Serenity EP //
Bringing on a fresh new vibe with his addition to the Hive Audio roster is Mirko Hensel, known and loved for being a part of the duo that is Channel X and rocking things sole under his Jiggler alias with releases on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Budenzauber and Katermukke amongst other. For his label debut he weighs in two original tracks plus an additional remix take that surely will be heard on dancefloors on a regular throughout this year for a reason.
Opening with „Serenity“ Jiggler presents a well-balanced menu of dark'ish, yet uplifting Tech House based upon an overwhelming foundation of droning sawtooth bass paired with driving percussions and spiralling vintage modulations perfectly complementing siren'esque sounds and trancey, large scale breakdowns for a perfect lift-off from a heaving and bubbling dancefloor.
With their remix for the title track we've got Danito & Athina on a more pounding, prime-time focused tip borderlining technoid areas whilst staying true to the original bass' heavy feel, adding spatial vibes, a mystical main motif and quite a few progressive elements to come up with an extremely powerful tool for the darkest late night hours out on the floor.
Finally „Ahead“ sees Jiggler combine a masterly sculpted, precise bassdrum pump with a seductively rolling, slighty disco-infused bassline, topped by an ever moving, classy and super hypnotic Tech motif perfectly playing along the tunes warping atmospheres and thrilling out of space attitude inducing next level madness to each and everyone experiencing this one being blasted to a solid rig.
