DJ Deep and Roman Poncet return to their Sergie Rezza project with new material this April.
2015 was the first time the Parisian producers joined forces to release as Sergie Rezza, dropping an EP and album on Desire Records. Over the last three years the duo has continued collaborating under different monikers exploring techno, house, micro-house and more as Adventice, Fang, DeepTraum and Slang. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, Sergie Rezza is their most esoteric and experimental guise and this year will see them partner up once again for two releases on the newly launched Sergie Rezza Records.
Crystalline synths introduce CALE before hypnotic drums join ethereal atmospherics, making way into a groove laden affair titled TREEHOUSE with its syncopated percussion and intuitive use of sampling. The rhythmic MONTE then ups the tempo with a compelling beat and serene effects until floating guitars and soaring chords generate a final mesmerising conclusion named DECALE.
