EXT. CLEAR & CALM MISSISSIPPI RIVER WATERS, CLIFF-SIDE - DAY

Two canoes sail quietly downriver. In one, sits three, the other sits four, including a CAPTAIN, and PRIEST, scribbling a drawing into a journal. Slight panic among the crew is visible.

PRIEST
"We all can agree that any savage is not their author."

CAPTAIN
"Even the best in France would find it difficult to paint so well, and besides, they are so high up on the rock, how would anyone find it convenient to paint them?"

They begin to hear a great turbulence ahead. Fear fills their eyes. Everyone paddles rapidly as the waters become very agitated and muddy. They come around a bend,

SUDDENLY, AN ACCUMULATION OF LARGE AND ENTIRE TREES, BRANCHES

is upon them. They swiftly paddle, in a violent struggle to evade. The crew in the first canoe barely escapes. The waters are incredibly violent now. CAPTAIN frantically points to the shore. Both canoes run aground and everyone disembarks.
The entire crew stands on the bank, now gazing upon the raging and forceful junction of two great rivers.

PRIEST
"I have seen nothing more dreadful." Distributed By Symphonic Distribution - www.symphonicdistribution.com
