For our 29th release we’re happy to welcome Venice born music partners-in-crime ALEX PICCINI and OLDERIC.
Alex Piccini already owned turntables at 16yrs. By 2004 he moved to Milan and began his career as a producer and a resident DJ in local clubs. Eight years on he has now sees his releases on Bitten, - Sandy Huner and 2000 & One’s hot techhouse Amsterdam imprint - as well as Nic Fanciulli’s label Saved Records.
Olderic’s sound is influenced by a background of different styles of music, combined with percussive grooves, deep bass lines; his style ranges from deep groovy house to floor-pumping tech-house, always funky and danceable. 2010 welcomed a string of hits including ‘Monkey Business” on Terminal M.
We’re happy they’ve worked their Italian magic with these 3 tunes:
MISTER POSTMAN: Fun and flirtatious. It’s time to get bobbing with this full on happy-vibe swing, Italian style. Full of springy bounce and vocal snippets to shimmy too.
INVISIBLE TOUCH: Rich deep beats with a creamy, smooth groove rinsed with some subtle synths and melodic distant stabs. Tasty stuff!
SILENT RUNNER: Determined and grittier, with chord wallops and faint vocals for a dance marathon, Area Remote style ;)
