
Bas Struik has his roots in the Lower Southern parts of the Netherlands. Born and raised in the city of light Eindhoven in the mid 1980's he has been surrounded by music and technical elements for all of his life. Getting inspired and struck by the electronic virus fed by the weekly imports at Eindhoven's former famous vinyl store Rare Records, finding his love in music by inspirers such as Omar S, Romanthony, Depeche Mode, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos and Marco Resmann to name a few..After playing loads of clubs as a deejay within the lowlands sharing the decks alongside well respected names, The moment came for him to focus on producing and less and less on performing. trying to completely concentrate on making music and graduating his SAE audio engineering course. The choices made at the time seemed to be the right choices, resulting in rocking live performances and a string of upcoming releases on various labels featuring his debut release on Sound Architecture Records presenting his digital only Balos EP featuring a remix of J.Flannan. This digital only EP is an introduction for Bas Struik his upcoming 12 inch release called the Numbaco EP featuring remixes of BP and german based Findling and Lihab expected in june 2011.
