Versatile Luis Barceló Sureda aka BARCE releases his debut with Nice & Nasty, his fourth long player but his first with the Irish imprint and a real return to form for the Irish label.
Barce represents the modern European producer that fuse different sounds and styles into their own and The Impossible is aptly named as it is impossible to pigeon hole or easily categorise Barce into one genre.
Barce defies genre but epitomises all that is good about techno - not Detroit techno, not trance not Minimal but pure and simple techno and all its glorious technicolour and multi-flavours.
Making tunes since 2012 Barce was inspired by "Dimitri from Paris", which forced him to dive deeper into Disco, Funk, House, Deep Soul and especially Techno but it was the sweet, soulful techno of Glasgow's Vince watson that complelled Barce to make music and end up at this point, delivering his debut album on Ireland's Nice & Nasty via his home in Spain.
High Tech Soul or Future Jazz or simply really good techno is probably the best way to pigeon hole BARCE, if you really want to. We like to think its just good music. Releasing music on various labels from 2012, Barce had a prolific 2016 and 2017 with Ireland's Nice & Nasty knocks out his album for all to enjoy
Whilst so many tracks are stand alone we hope that people listen to the album from 1 to 10 in order to full y experience the journey Barce has created and hopes to take you on.
