With their brand new 'Infinity EP' we welcome back French duo Missing Time to Hydrogen. To get us started we have the marvellous ‘Magnetik’ a track that creates a hypnotizing vibe with crazy synths and FX over a funk infused bassline, a killer groove and slow evolving pads that add texture and keep the track nicely filled out whilst this timeless classic keeps on giving. This peak-time monster will certainly leave a lasting impression on any dance-floor like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh - this will do nicely thank you very much.

Next up is 'Infinity' for which Missing Time used effected sample cuts to create a driving rhythm on the top of a steaming kick drum, which really augments the flow of the track. The guys show their love for melodic and deep FX by taking each track to a different level. Adding a few warm tinkling sounds, a squelchy edge and some nicely effected spoken sounding pieces, and we basically have the formula for a bit of a monster.

The final track of the release is called ‘Timelapse’ and features the talents of Julian Parity, which delves into deeper territory and sees lush pads fused with a sultry groove foundation underpinned by the duo’s trademark bass patterns, before all manner of varied melodies weave in and out of the stereo field, making it a nice take on the original version. The EP highlights Missing Time's continuing maturity and variety in his productions that is clearly on show with the offered 'Infinity EP’. Miss this at your peril!
