Carly Foxx’s Love Story Recordings continues with the ‘Static’ EP courtesy of Mexico’s Ninasonik and accompanied by Nark and La Fraicheur remixes.

Up first is title-cut ‘Static’, an understate dose of murky electronica fuelled by glitched-out vocal stutters and swirling murmurs while a dropped-tempo arpeggio, resonant leads and crunchy percussion further fuel the heady groove.

Mr.INTL artist and one of half of Hexxy alongside Hercules & Love Affair’s AndyButler, Nark aka Kevin Kauer steps up on remix duties next, delivering a brooding acid-tinged affair.

Berlin-based La Fraicheur’s take on ‘Static’ follows and the influence of her residency at Salon Zur Wilde Renate in her hometown shines through via melodic intricacies and raw drums with a dance floor sensibility still in mind.

Lastly Ninasonik turns in ‘Le Punit’ to close the release, fuelled by chugging
acid arps, dreamy strings plucks and shuffled rhythms.
