For our nineteenth release we invite Australian producer Dawn Again for a three track EP entitled ‘Friends’. We first heard Dawn Again with his stellar EP on Rothmans which is still on rotation. Here, he dishes up three stunning left-field house tracks ripe for the discerning dancefloor.
He kicks things off with ‘Pyramid Scheme’, an ephemeral and moody cuts that builds and builds until it peaks with a joyous release.
Next up is 432 Evergreen, an ode to a frequented address during his extended stint in NYC.
On the deeper tip, Evergreen features sprawling percussion and a rolling, subtle bassline. Heady stuff. The third track, Dharamsala, is a visit to India. Ripe with sitars, tabla, and India vocal chants… this is peak time party music, folks.
Closing out the EP in style is NYC based Lawrence Lee who turns in a 90’s rave throwback and utter burner.
