Antrim makes his return on MNL after his previous 'Leak Gardens' (2015) and 'Parallel / The Chemical Of Return' (2016) releases. The Argentinian producer is one of the well respected progressive house producers out there, with a constant quality output that got him signed to labels such as Hope Recordings, Perspectives Digital and Wide Angle Recordings to name a few.
For his return on MNL he treats us with two originals, starting with the title track 'Niger Mulier'. This song makes you want to shake your booty right from the beginning. A groovy percussive intro quickly evolves into a proper dance floor burner as soon as the highly effective bassline comes in. Antrim cleverly builds the track towards a highly emotive peak time bomb with it's key changes and constant subtle addition of various melodic elements.
The second original is titled 'It Will Be This Time', a deeper tune when compared to it's predecessor but still very groovy. It subtly builds towards the breakdown and you just know this one will get the proper crowd reaction when the beat drops. Deep yet very effective this one.
On remix duties we welcome Donatello to the label for the first time, after having done a remix for MNL's sister label Manual Music last year. The Lithuanian producer who we know from his productions on labels such as Stripped Recordings, Click, Proton Music and Perspectives Digital pulls 'It Will Be This Time' away from the deepness and turns it into a pumping dance floor burner in his trademark style that borders between tech house and progressive house.
